The Stamped Range pays tribute to New Zealand's past, highlighting some of our national treasures and immortalising them in glass.
The Tui is New Zealand's favourite song bird. Easily identified by the striking white tuft of feathers on it's chest that flit around when it sings. Found throughout NZ, the Tui is usually seen in trees feasting on native flower nectars and fruits.
This Kiwi made, hand crafted, piece of glass artwork starts off as a plain piece of 5mm glass. It is cut to size and screen printed with it's intricate design. The piece is then fired in our kiln at over 800 deg Celsius where it fuses the glass print into the surface and takes on it's stippled transparent finish.
Included in the box is a stand, designed to designed to complement the glass, ensuring that your plate is displayed in the grandeur it deserves. We laser-cut the stand in-house from New Zealand made board.
